InoxMIM cosmetic machinery at a glance
- InoxMIM designs and manufactures cosmetic machinery for every stage of production, from 50-litre laboratory reactors to complete modular plants.
- Compact reactors with recirculation emulsifier for creams and gels, and MixMIM mixing and emulsifying reactors.
- Mobile equipment: heated or cooled reactors and jacketed melting vessels for indirect heating.
- Products: gels, shampoos, hair dyes, conditioners, sun creams, serums, and moisturising and regenerating creams.
- Pilot plants for testing new formulas and CIP equipment for cleaning reactors.
What cosmetic machinery does InoxMIM manufacture?
Equipment designed for homogeneous, stable production that respects the properties of each formula and adapts to each product.

Creams and gels
Compact reactor with recirculation emulsifier
Homogeneous, stable mixing for the production of creams and gels.

Mixing and emulsification
MixMIM reactors
Agitation, mixing and emulsifying reactors with a lifting lid for cream preparation.

Mobile
Heated mobile reactor
Electric heating and precise temperature control for each formula.

Mobile
Cooled mobile reactor
For phases that must be cooled in a controlled way during processing.

Mobile
Jacketed mobile melting vessel
Indirect heating and gentle treatment of the ingredients that require it.

Cleaning
CIP cleaning equipment
Automatic cleaning of reactors and circuits without dismantling them.
Modular, prefabricated cosmetic production plants
We design and manufacture modular, prefabricated cosmetic production plants for regenerating creams, gels, shampoos and other personal hygiene and care products.
The agitation, mixing and emulsifying systems ensure homogeneous processes with shorter production times and lower energy consumption. Each plant is designed to the customer's requirements.
- Integrated agitation, mixing and emulsification
- Sealing against product or gas leaks
- Bespoke design of the production line
- Lower energy consumption
Reactors for cream preparation
From the small reactor for short batches to the compact reactor with automatic control.

Pilot plants: feasibility trials before you invest
To minimise risk and secure every investment, we make pilot plants available to our customers for trials and feasibility studies before the complete line is installed. They allow you to:
- Test new cosmetic formulas
- Fine-tune the process to gain efficiency and reduce waste
- Check the performance of the equipment under real conditions
The results reveal possible improvements and confirm that each piece of equipment meets the needs of your production.

How do we approach a cosmetics project?
We combine industrial engineering with knowledge of the cosmetics sector, using fluid simulation and parametric design.
Formula study
We analyse the product, its viscosity, the phases and the working temperatures.
Pilot plant trials
We test the formula and fine-tune the process before the investment.
Design and manufacture
We design the reactor or plant and manufacture it in stainless steel.
Installation and training
We install, fine-tune the process and train your technical team.

Frequently asked questions about cosmetic machinery
What machinery is needed to make cosmetic creams?
A reactor with agitation (often counter-rotating) and jacketed temperature control, a bottom-entry or recirculation emulsifier to achieve a fine, stable emulsion and, if there are phases to be heated separately, a jacketed melting vessel. It is completed with pumps for viscous products and CIP cleaning. We explain it in machine for making cosmetic creams.
What is a reactor with recirculation emulsifier?
It is a compact reactor in which the product leaves the tank, passes through an emulsifier and re-enters it. In this way the whole batch passes through the shear zone several times, giving a homogeneous, stable cream or gel.
What is a jacketed mobile melting vessel used for?
To heat indirectly, through the jacket, ingredients that need gentle treatment before they are added to the mix. As it is mobile, it can be taken to the reactor where it is used.
What cosmetic products can be made with this equipment?
Gels, shampoos, hair dyes, conditioners, sun creams, serums, moisturising and regenerating face creams, and personal hygiene and care products in general.
What are the advantages of a prefabricated modular cosmetic plant?
It arrives designed for your process, integrates agitation, mixing and emulsification, reduces production times and energy consumption and includes sealing options that prevent product or gas leaks.
How are cosmetic reactors cleaned?
With CIP cleaning equipment that recirculates cleaning solutions through the reactor and circuits without dismantling them. Find out more in how to clean a cosmetic reactor.
Can I test a new formula before buying the equipment?
Yes. In our pilot plants, new formulas are tested, the process is fine-tuned and the performance of the equipment is checked before the investment.
