InoxMIM engineering at a glance
- InoxMIM is a process machinery manufacturer made up of industrial engineers and specialist technicians, designing custom equipment since 1997.
- It designs and manufactures mixing and pumping SKIDs, agitation and vacuum mixing reactors, HTST pasteurisers, ripening and fermentation tanks, brine preparation units and CIP cleaning equipment.
- Each project is studied with parametric and fluid simulation (CFD) software before manufacture.
- It works for the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical and household cleaning product industries.
- The technical department handles each project directly, from the first enquiry to installation.
Design of custom process equipment and production plants
The design and development of custom units have been part of InoxMIM's DNA from the very beginning. In more than twenty years we have manufactured and installed all kinds of mixing and pumping SKIDs for a wide variety of industrial applications, always seeking the best solution for each customer.
We have departments dedicated to machinery for the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and our own range of industrial pumps and industrial agitators that we integrate into each plant.

What process equipment does InoxMIM manufacture?
In addition to designing custom plants, more than ten years ago we began developing our own pasteurisation and heat treatment lines for the food industry and, later, production units for cosmetic creams and sauces. Today we manufacture:
- Automatic or semi-automatic HTST pasteurisers
- Electric HTST pasteurisers
- Ripening and fermentation tanks
- Automatic or mobile CIP cleaning systems
- Vacuum agitation and mixing reactors for sauces and creams
- Brine preparation units
Depending on each customer's needs, we also manufacture special agitation equipment, lifting systems, integrated pumping and mixing solutions, and filtration and cleaning equipment.
How do we handle a custom project?
We offer direct support and technical advice at every stage. Our engineering department works with state-of-the-art management systems and software.
Process study
Together with your team, we analyse the product, the volume, the viscosity, the temperature and the space available.
Design and simulation
We design the installation with parametric software and simulate the flow (CFD) to choose the agitation, the pumps and the power.
Pilot plant trials
When necessary, we test the process in a pilot plant before the final investment.
Manufacture and installation
We manufacture the equipment in stainless steel, install it, fine-tune the process and train your staff.
Plants for chemicals and household cleaning products
We design reactors and agitation systems for the chemical industry and for plants producing detergents and household cleaning products.

CIP cleaning equipment for industry
We design and manufacture complete CIP (Clean in Place) cleaning units, which clean tanks, piping and equipment without dismantling them. In the food, cosmetics or chemical industries, effective CIP cleaning depends on the balance between four factors:
- Mechanical action
- Time
- Temperature
- Detergent
Two types of soiling occur in these sectors: organic soiling, made up of fat and protein residues, and mineral soiling, from precipitates of magnesium, calcium and other elements. To remove them, alkaline, acid and disinfectant products are combined.

Catalogue equipment that we integrate into our plants
Each plant combines custom equipment with models from our catalogue. These are some of the most common.
Frequently asked questions about process plant engineering and design
What is a custom industrial process plant?
It is a set of equipment (tanks, reactors, agitators, emulsifiers, pumps, heat exchangers, CIP cleaning and controls) designed for a specific product and production volume. At InoxMIM each process is studied and the equipment is manufactured in stainless steel.
What is a mixing and pumping SKID?
It is a compact unit mounted on a frame that integrates tanks, agitation, pumps, piping and controls. It arrives assembled and ready to connect, which simplifies installation in the plant.
What is fluid simulation (CFD) used for in plant design?
It makes it possible to predict how the product will move in the tank before manufacture. It is used to choose the type of agitator, its position and the power needed to achieve a homogeneous mixture with the lowest consumption.
What factors are involved in CIP cleaning?
Four: mechanical action, time, temperature and detergent. For organic soiling (fats and proteins) and mineral soiling (magnesium or calcium precipitates), alkaline, acid and disinfectant products are combined.
Which sectors does InoxMIM design process plants for?
Can a process be tested before ordering the plant?
Yes. InoxMIM offers pilot plants for trials and feasibility studies before the final investment, so that the line design can be adjusted with real data.
