What is the FL-EREX winery pump for?

The FL-EREX is a helical rotor positive displacement pump designed for the wine industry. Its distinctive feature is the auger built into the connecting rod, which makes it easier to convey grape paste from the inlet to the rotor and stator.

It has a robust, compact design, an AISI 304 body, wetted parts in AISI 316, a nitrile stator and gaskets and a C/C/N mechanical seal. The inlet is DN 250 or DN 350 and the outlet DN 125 or DN 150, with DIN 2576 connections. It is built in an industrial version, with monobloc or bare shaft mounting, and handles 25 to 45 t/h depending on the model.

FL-EREX with trolley and control panel

This is the right pump if…

  • You need to pump grape paste and require forced feeding into the pump.
  • You work with high volumes: 25 to 45 t/h depending on the model.
  • You need large-diameter ports, DN 250 or DN 350 at the inlet.
  • You want a robust unit on a baseplate or trolley, with a control panel.

Winery applications

Where the FL-EREX is usually installed:

Grape paste

Conveying grape paste, with the auger drawing the product into the pump.

Large-capacity wineries

Three sizes from 25 to 45 t/h for the highest-volume harvests.

Fixed installations

Baseplate mounting, monobloc or bare shaft, with control panel and optional probes.

Mobile units

On a trolley to take the pump to different points in the winery.

Features and benefits

Feeder auger

Built into the connecting rod, it makes it easier to convey grape paste towards the stator.

Robust and compact

Positive displacement pump with a robust, compact design, suited to the wine industry.

Large-diameter ports

DN 250 inlet (FL80 and FL100EREX) or DN 350 inlet (FL120EREX) and DN 125 or DN 150 outlet.

AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel

AISI 304 body and wetted parts in AISI 316.

One or two stages

Single- or two-stage construction allows the pump to be matched to the installation pressure.

Monobloc or bare shaft

Two mounting types depending on the installation and the drive.

Frequently asked questions about the FL-EREX winery pump with feeder auger

What flow rate does each FL-EREX model handle?

The FL80EREX handles 25 to 30 t/h with 5.5 to 7.5 kW; the FL100EREX, 30 to 40 t/h with 7.5 to 9.2 kW; and the FL120EREX, 40 to 45 t/h with 11 to 15 kW.

What does the feeder auger do?

It is built into the pump's connecting rod and makes it easier to convey grape paste from the inlet to the rotor and stator, which are what drive the product through the pipework.

What is the difference between the FL-EREX and the FL-ERTV?

The FL-EREX has an integrated auger for grape paste, wetted parts in AISI 316 and DIN 2576 flanges, with flow rates of 25 to 45 t/h. The FL-ERTV receives destemmed grapes in a hopper, comes in six sizes from 2 to 60 m³/h, has wetted parts in AISI 304 and an optional feeder.

What pressure does it reach?

The model table gives a maximum of 6 bar for all three sizes. The pump can be built with one or two stages; if your installation needs more pressure, please contact us.

What connections does it have?

DIN 2576 flanges as standard: DN 250 or DN 350 inlet and DN 125 or DN 150 outlet depending on the model. On request it is supplied with DIN 11851, MACON, GAROLLA, GAS or spherical connections.

What maintenance does it need?

Thoroughly clean the auger, body and stator at the end of each harvest day and check the stator, which is the main wear part. Do not let it run without product: the optional liquid-presence probes help protect it.
