What is a centrifugal pump?
A centrifugal pump is type of hydraulic pump that is used to transform the mechanical energy of a propeller or turbine into kinetic energy or pressure to an uncompressible fluid. The centrifugal pump thus converts the energy with which it is worked, in this case mechanical, into hydraulic energy.
What is a centrifugal pump used for?
The machinery that is used to move liquids using the hydraulic energy generated is called the centrifugal pump. They are generally used to make a current of water flow, as well as for the liquid’s movement.
